Admiralty & Maritime Law Our Admiralty & Maritime Practice Group represents clients in legal issues relating to the sea including shipping, marine cargo, and workers injured at sea, on navigable waters, or while working in harbor. They also represent clients in contract negotiations for shipping cargo and in resolving issues that result from performance of those contracts and have extensive expertise in the requirements of the Jones Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act. Real Estate We represent both commercial clients and individuals in all proceedings and transactions that deal with real property-land and the structures attached to it-including purchase and sale, construction, mortgages and foreclosures, leases, zoning, title examinations, quiet title actions, closings, and management.
